Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk - a talented actor who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk is child of a Briton and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Anna appeared in several advertisements in her youth. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually making the move to Los Angeles, California, in the following decade.
