Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg was raised in Wellington and made her debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played the character in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 to be the Best Supporting Actress. After responding to a call for auditions, she was able to audition at age nine years old, with no prior experience acting, she won Flora McGrath's role. Flora is the child of the Scottish musician who was blind. The couple moved from Scotland to New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century in an effort to plan a wedding.
