Dolly-Parton
born on January. 19th, 1946, in Locust Ridge Tenn into a poor family that would eventually include 12 children Dolly Parton learned early to escape the hardships of living through her vibrant and expansive imagination. Songs were written by her before she could write or read. The first guitar she received was gifted by her mother when she was eighteen. The singer began her singing career at an Knoxville Tenn station by the age of eleven. Gold Band Records is a small, independent label. In high school She made her mark local, but longed for having a bigger stage. In 1964, the day following her graduation from high-school her family moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first record to chart for the first time on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for a female vocalist to perform on his show syndicated by him from the beginning. Parton was a part of the Grand Ole Opry 1969 after signing with RCA Records. Parton left the show however, in 1974 because her albums on her own like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene outsold their collaborations. Parton following the breakup of their relationship with Wagoner, wrote"I'll Always Be Loved" by You and saw it climb to Number. The first time in 1974.
