Morgan Fairchild (born PatsyAnn McClenny February. 3, 1950) is an acclaimed American actor. The actress gained fame in the latter part of the 1970s and into the in the early 1980s, playing roles in several television series, in which she usually presented a glamourous image. Fairchild was first noticed in her role on the CBS morning soap Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She was Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time an actress had done such a role. In 1980 she took the lead in Flamingo Road (NBC), where she received the Golden Globe Award nomination for the top Actress for the Television Series Drama. In 1984, she was a co-star on ABC's primetime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985 until 1986, Fairchild was the lawyer Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild was also seen in the theater, and as a guest on TV shows such as Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. The actress was considered for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her role in this show. She serves as a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA.
