She gave a stellar performance in the role of Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. In the same period, she also starred in box-office failures including Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing characters from animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia did not yield results.
