Her graduation from Germantown Friends School which is located in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood, in the year 1994. After that, she went to Harvard College where she earned an Associate of Arts degree in 1998. Welker married John Hughes in Philadelphia, who was known as a marketing director. The couple have two daughters. The couple started to engage in an affair. John her husband is a year younger than her.
